New product protects technical installations:

With its new product,Clarit® UF Powder, Süd-Chemie will be able in future to meet the requirements of the fruit juice industry even better.

Alongside the conventional processes of clarification and protein stabilization, the process known as ultrafiltration is also used in the fruit juice industriy. Here, the juice is clarified mechanically under the action of pressure and temperature and with the use of a beverage additive.

With the new product, Clarit® UF, Süd-Chemie has brought onto the market an additive which does not attack the sensitive ceramic membranes, pumps and installation components during ultrafiltration. Süd-Chemie is thereby the first supplier worldwide of abrasion-free, i.e. sand-free beverage additives.

A great demand for Clarit® UF is also expected in the foreseeable future in other industries and applications.
