Used by the majority of the world’s major pharmaceutical companies, desiccant canisters are considered the gold standard of pharmaceutical desiccants because their rigid design allows them to be inserted at the high rates of speed that they require. A number of canister configurations are available with various fills and sizes.
Süd-Chemie’s capsules, similar to canisters, are also designed for high-speed insertion and have a wide variety of shapes and sizes, allowing for expanded applications and uses.
In addition to manufacturing desiccant canisters, Süd-Chemie has also developed oxygen absorbing cansiters that work in low relative humidities. PharmaKeep® canisters were developed to provide the pharmaceutical industry with a packaging technology to combat degradation of drugs due to oxidation.
