EXM 1037 - Li4Ti5O12



Ceramic Anode Material
for 2.4 V Lithium-Ion Batteries

In general, Lithiumtitanate Li4Ti5O12 is an excellent anode material where long battery life and extreme reliable cycle stability is requested by the lithium ion battery consumer. Furthermore, EXM 1037 is specially designed for its use in lithium-polymer batteries (e.g. Bellcore type Lithium-polymer batteries).

Technical Information:

• specific electrochemical capacity of EXM 1037 ca. 155 mAh/g
• excellent cycle stability over more than 800 cycles
• capacity loss of prototype lithium polymer battery < 7 % after 800 cycles
• very low self discharge rate of lithium ion battery cells
• very small particle size distribution between 1 µm and 10 µm maximum
• average particle size about 3 to 4 µm
