Total Oxidation of halogenated hydrocarbons

Historically, the presence of halogenated hydrocarbons has excluded the use of catalytic oxidation as a purification method.

However, with our special highly-active precious metal catalysts it is possible not only to tolerate halogenated hydrocarbons such as trichloroethylene, perchloro-ethylene, methylchloride, vinylchloride, etc., but also to oxidize these constituents to end products: H2O, CO2 and HCl.

Typical applications for these catalysts are exhaust gas treatment in soil remediation and in various chemical-pharmaceutical production processes.
