A significant part of Süd-Chemie AG's policy is the following quality policy.

1. It is the customer who decides about the quality of our products and services.

We therefore fulfil all agreements concluded with our customers in a reliable and timley manner.

We therefore involve our customers as partners from the outset in processes designed to improve existing products or develop new ones.

2. Thinking and acting in process chains is the basis for optimization of work sequences.

Every employee is therefore responsible for his/her individual step(s) in the process chain.

Therefore every employee

as an external or internal supplier is obliged to satisfy the expectations of his/her customers,

as an internal customer has a right to good quality of the work he or she receives.

We therefore agree on the exact scope of services expected for every process stage between the customer and the supplier.

We therefore opimize our processes using modern information technologies.

3. Qualified and committed staff are a prerequisite for ensuring the quality of our products and services, cutting work times and costs and reinforcing our competitive ability.

We therefore create an environment in which every employee can make a motivated contribution to the attainment of our corporate objectives.

4. Quality also means: preventing mistakes and eliminating the causes of mistakes.

We therefore plan the quality of our processes, products and services in a systematic manner and also record and analyze mistakes on a continuous basis.

5. The quality of the products and services provided by our suppliers has a major impact on the quality of our own products.

We therefore involve our suppliers in our product development process at an early stage and assist them in identifying their quality targets.

We therefore come to an exact agreement with our suppliers regarding the expected quality of products and services.
