CERATOSIL® R - a natural calcium bentonite made from selected Bavarian clays that is added as powdery grade in an amount of approx. 3 - 8% to ceramic mixtures before firing.
Its inherent property as fluxing agent leads to significant reduction of i.e. the sintering temperature and consequently to saving of production costs for high-temperature and electrical insulators.
The low swelling volume on the one hand and the inorganic binder capacity on the other hand enables optimization of production processes.
