Environmental factors play a significant role in the Süd-Chemie AG's Integrated Management System, which regulates operations, assignments and responsibilities within the company. This system ensures that environmental protection and safety are a implicit part of most activities, eg. product development, planning and construction of new plants or adjustments to existing facilities, production, waste management and the handling and transport of hazardous materials.

The Integrated Management System has been certified according to the DIN EN ISO 9001 quality standard and according to the DIN EN ISO 14001 environmental standard. Therefore the Integrated Management System stands for high product quality as well as high standards for environmental protection, health and safety.
